CETL, Kakkalur

Welcome to the website of CETL, Kakkalur - A Government of Tamilnadu undertaking.  

 

The Central Electrical Testing Laboratory in Kakkalur was established in the year 1973, with a view to provide comprehensive test facilities to Electrical Products as per relevant Indian Standard Specifications. The laboratory is situated on the Chennai-Tiruvallur High Road at Kakkalur, around 42 km from Chennai.

 

    

At present testing facilities have been extended to 160 types of electrical products. Additionally CETL has established a full-fledged calibration laboratory for calibrating electrical parameters.
